ChatGPT Fails In JEE Advanced Exam

OpenAI’s ChatGPT has once again faced failure, this time in India’s top engineering exam, JEE Advanced, following its earlier inability to clear the civil service examination.

As per reports, ChatGPT scored negatively in this exam, managing to answer only 11 questions across both papers. Similarly, the chatbot secured 45% in the medical entrance exam NEET, in which candidates must answer a minimum of 180 out of 200 questions. ChatGPT attempted all 200 questions but scored only 359 out of 800. However, according to the reports, it did better in the biology section.

ChatGPT achieved an average score in the CLAT UG exam, managing to solve only 50.83% of the questions correctly. The chatbot struggled with reasoning and quantitative questions but scored the highest marks in English and Current Affairs. It also faced difficulty in handling concept-based questions.

On the other hand, ChatGPT displayed an impressive performance in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG Exam). It scored 66.4% marks answering 36 questions accurately in the business studies paper.

Since its launch in November 2022, ChatGPT has excelled in various exams in the United States, including the US Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) and multiple MBA exams. It has even cleared the Google Coding Interviews for Level 3 Engineers.

Meanwhile, scientists have predicted that artificial intelligence will soon surpass human intelligence. ChatGPT can process enormous amounts of data, analyze it, and generate content based on the GPT-4 language processing paradigm.
