Adobe is introducing new AI tools that can help automate tasks that usually take a lot of time, like editing many images at once and translating videos.
One standout tool is “Firefly Bulk Create,” which lets users quickly change the size of up to 10,000 images or change their backgrounds with just one click, instead of having to edit each image one by one.

This tool combines several of Adobe’s Firefly APIs to make them easier for creative people who may not know how to code.
Bulk Create is now available in beta and includes two main features on Adobe’s Firefly web app: “Remove Background” and “Resize.”
The “Remove Background” feature lets users upload images from their computer, Dropbox, or Adobe Experience Manager to easily take out the backgrounds.
This feature works on any image but is especially handy for marketers. Besides just removing the background, users can choose to replace it with a specific image or color using HEX codes, allowing them to create different versions of each image for further editing.
Currently, users can save their edited images as PNG or JPEG, with plans to support Photoshop PSD files in the future.
The “Resize” tool offers preset sizes for popular social media ads and platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. It uses AI to stretch the backgrounds of images to fit these sizes, but the results can be hit or miss.
In a demo, the tool showed some awkward warping, such as blending wine glasses in a strange way. While it might improve after the beta phase, it can still help designers avoid the tedious task of resizing images for various platforms.
Other services like Canva and Adobe Express also offer similar features, but Bulk Create allows for one-click editing.
Adobe is also launching new developer APIs for Firefly Services soon, which will help speed up video and print production processes.
Features like “Dubbing and Lip Sync” will translate and adjust lip movements for video audio in 14 languages, while a new InDesign tool will format text and images for both print and digital media using templates.
Additionally, “Digital avatars” made from text descriptions and voice recordings will be available in beta this month, useful for creating videos and product explanations.
Editing batches of 10,000 images requires significant resources, so Adobe will charge a fee for using these new tools based on usage.
This likely means users will need to pay for a premium Adobe Firefly plan that provides generative credits, which can then be used for these features.
