Scribbled Arrow

Lionel Messi intervened on Sunday when guards tried to remove a young fan. The seven-time Ballon d'Or champion also took a selfie of the boy.

After Messi's match with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in Tel Aviv, Israel, the incident occurred. Messi was going down the tunnel of the stadium

The security guards stopped the young supporter from running up to Messi. Instead, Messi intervened as they tried to take him away.

The boy dropped his phone during the chaos but managed to grab it as Messi placed his hands on his shoulder.

Messi took a photo of them together. Then, before he was taken away again by the guards, they hugged.

Through this act of compassion, the Argentine star gave the young admirer a moment he will never forget.
