Two More New Features Are Coming On WhatsApp: See All Details

Scribbled Arrow

WhatsApp's team is working on new ways to increase privacy and reduce the awkwardness.

These new features, which will assist in achieving those goals, will soon be available to users.

The first is the ability to leave a group chat without any sound.

This allows you to leave a group chat silently, so no awkward goodbyes.

The group admins will receive a notification, but users will not be notified.

Next, we have something that has been in the works for some time - the ability to restrict who can view your online activities.

This can be set to all or just your contacts. This and leaving groups silently will be available to all users in the coming months.

A significant update has been made to the View Once feature.

This feature allows users to send photos or videos that disappear after their recipient opens them.

The problem was that the recipient could simply take a screenshot of the image.

WhatsApp has not yet announced when the feature will be available to users.

However, the company is working on blocking screenshots in View Once messages are almost complete.
