Kate Biberdorf, a 36-year-old professor of chemistry at the University and said that the ban isn't well with her because they utilize TikTok as a tool for education for making science "fun to use and available" to all.

The professor from chemistry also stated that the ban that the university instituted seemed to take away their rights, and it was a further push in the wrong direction.
