Sundar Pichai Issues Warning: Google Has Too Many Employees But Too Few Work

Scribbled Arrow

Sundar Pichai, Google's CEO, seems unhappy with many of his employees' performance.

An executive called a meeting with employees and advised them to be more efficient and to focus on improving their products and helping customers.

Pichai feels that productivity is lacking, and it is not where it should be given the number of employees Google employs.

The CEO believes that Google is too large, but not enough people work efficiently and are focused.

CNBC reports that Pichai asked his employees to create a culture that is more mission-focused, focused on products, and customer-focused.

As a result, we must think about ways to reduce distractions and raise productivity and product excellence.

This news comes days after Google announced that the second quarter of 2022 was "weaker" than expected in terms of earnings, revenue, and earnings.

The same was true for the first quarter. According to the source, 13% less growth was seen this quarter than last year.

This means that some employees could be fired due to inefficiency and productivity and skills, as well as to save money.
