According to BBC, the skull was found in the city centre of Pombal in 2017 after;

The owner of the house began work at his home and spotted fragments of fossilized bone.

Spanish and Portuguese Palaeontologists then excavated the dinosaur in August this year.

They believe the fossilized skull is that of the sauropod species, herbivorous and four-legged animals with large necks and long tails.

Sauropods were the largest of dinosaurs and the giant land animals ever to have existed.

 The experts have confirmed that they were present in their Upper Jurassic period, about 150 million years ago.

Palaeontologists discovered parts of the dinosaur's spine and ribs, suggesting that the massive reptile was around twelve meters (39 feet) tall and 25 meters (82 feet) long.

Due to the position that the skeleton was located in, scientists who are working on the dig are optimistic that there's more yet to find.
