The reality TV actress Kim Kardashian has launched her private equity firm that she co-founded by an ex-partner at the investment firm Carlyle Group.
SKKY Partners will focus on investing in media and consumer companies, according to a tweet.
Ms. Kardashian will act as co-founder and managing partner, and Jay Sammons will handle the company's day-to-day operations.
The mother of Ms. Kardashian, Kris Jenner, will also join the company.
"Together, we're hoping to use our expertise and experience to create the next generation of Consumer & Media private equity firm," said the reality show host turned businesswoman in an Instagram post.
Her business partner, Mr. Sammons, was previously the director of global consumer retail, media and entertainment for the Carlyle Group, an American multinational investment company.
His clients included famous brands such as Supreme, Beats by Dr. Dre, Vogue International, Moncler and McDonald's China on LinkedIn.
