Justin Bieber performed on the stage for the first time since being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which paralyzed one side of his face.

On Sunday, the "Peaches" singer kicked off the European leg of his Justice Tour with a performance at Italy's Lucca Summer Festival.

Social media has exploded with fan-taken videos of Bieber performing, celebrating his return to the stage.

Bieber shared a video on Instagram of himself getting ready for his comeback, declaring proudly in a group huddle: "We're back!" It was a wonderful, wonderful evening!

Then, he marches excitedly up to the podium at the end of his video.

Bieber also shared another video in which he addressed his fans and said, "I want you to say thank you so much for having us back. This is my first day back. It's so great to be back!

The Grammy winner said, "I'm just too grateful to be back," before telling his team how much he appreciates and loves them.

On June 10, "Ghost" singer Ramsay Hunt's syndrome left half his face paralyzed. In addition, he had to cancel several tours due to it.

According to the Mayo Clinic, the chickenpox virus is responsible for the illness. It can remain dormant in the body and cause a shingles rash.

The official Instagram account for the Justice tour has announced that Bieber will reschedule North American dates. The post promised that an announcement would be made "very soon."
