iPhone 14 Clip Shows How The New Dual Notch Will Work

Scribbled Arrow

With September 7 just near, the attention of everyone is focused on Apple,

And leaks and rumors are flooding in on the forthcoming iPhone 14 lineup.

Many speculations have been focused on Cupertino's double cutout layout that will be used for the selfie camera and Face ID hardware.

There appears to be some system that will block out the pixels between the cutouts and make the entire area appear one piece.

A new leak shows precisely that feature and lets us watch the switch turn that appears to be deemed to be an iPhone 14 unit of some kind.

Apple likely chose to use this feature for aesthetic and practical reasons.

The space between these cutouts could be used for the brand-new privacy indicators in iOS 14.

It will show how an app uses the device's microphones or video cameras. This may free the display's corners to accommodate more icons for status.
