Scribbled Arrow

Today Instagram has released the latest update, which allows you to buy items straight out of your chats.

It works with purchases made by "qualified small-sized companies" that verify your assets, makes payment requests, and take payments from Chat's interface.

Your queries, the company's responses, and any other communications you've had with them, together with your order and tracking and shipping information, All information is kept inside the chat interface.

The parent company of Instagram Meta claims that one billion people send messages to businesses every week through its various apps.

With this in mind, and Instagram would like your interaction with your preferred firms to be as smooth as possible, the brand new feature was created.

Meta Pay is a payment method that you can use to complete purchases. Official press releases describe an imagined scenario in which you'd be looking to purchase a backpack.

You reach out to the company that makes it through an Instagram DM and converse with the business regarding the possibility of customization.

Once you're happy, you place your order on the Chat. After that, you can contact the company with any questions you might need to ask in that same conversation, as well as keep track of the progress of your purchase.

If you're a small business, you can use this new feature to chat with customers in real-time to answer questions and confirm purchase details, create a payment request with item description and price, and then collect said payment - all in your DMs.
