Qualcomm has had a full day today. First, it presented its new generation chipset family for wearables, consisting of Qualcomm's Snapdragon W5 and W5+ processors just a couple of minutes in the past.

Now, the company has also announced the date for its following Snapdragon Summit.

The annual event usually occurs in Hawaii and will be similar this year. It's traditionally held in December.

However, in 2022, the Summit will be a three-day celebration scheduled for the 15-17th of November.

Qualcomm often unveils their new and most powerful mobile chipsets in the Snapdragon Summit.

This year we'll receive the first official glimpse of the coming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

Of course, more chips might be released with the new one, so it's sure to be an exciting mid-November.

Although Qualcomm hasn't explicitly stated reasons for moving the Snapdragon Summit to November in 2022, it could have something to be related to it being a part of the Chinese phone market, which sees an astronomical increase in sales during that Chinese new year.

Many Chinese firms would like to have their flagship devices available before the Chinese New Year celebration. An earlier announcement about the processor that powers the devices will help reduce delivery timings.
