A majority of money was stolen from a single bank account which contained $751,321.80 USDC drained from the fraudulent link.

Azuki is a well-known non-fungible token project that was hacked, and its Twitter account was affected on January. 27 resulting in hackers taking over $750,000 worth of USD Coin through the posting of a fraudulent "wallet drainer URL" disguised as a virtual mint in the land.

Hackers snatched $751,321.80 USDC from a single wallet within an hour of tweets with malicious links by Etherscan information.

The information also showed that hackers also stole $6,752.62 amount of USDC from different wallets that held 11 NFTs and more than 3.9 Ether.

Wallet Guard stated that the total stolen amount was $758,074.42.

Emily Rose, community manager for the anime-themed NFT project, confirmed on Twitter on January. 27th that Azuki's account was compromised, cautioning users against clicking any links on Azuki's Twitter account.
