Google claims that you can access the feature by clicking Insert > Building Blocks >Code Block and then choosing the appropriate language.

To pull up the menu, you can also type "@project assets", similar to how the Emoji Picker works.

It may take some time for the feature to be available -- Google's blog post suggests that some users may not have it by January 18.

According to the company's press release, access will not be granted to personal Google accounts, legacy G Suite accounts, or Essential and Starter Workspace levels.
