Disney announced that Disney Plus would be priced at $10.99 per month beginning December 8 in the US.

This is part of a restructuring effort by Disney, which also plans to add a $7.99 ad-supported tier.

In July, unbundled ESPN Plus streaming pricing was increased to $6.99 from $9.99. On October 10, the new pricing will go into effect.

Disney is also increasing the cost of its Hulu subscription. The price of the ad-free tier will increase from $12.99 to $14.99 per month.

While the cost of the ad-supported version will go up from $6.99 per month, it will be $7.99 per month.

Hulu, Disney Plus, and the ad-supported ESPN Plus will cost $19.99 per month.

Disney: Direct-to-Consumer revenues increased 19% to $5.1 Billion while operating loss rose to $0.8 Billion.

Disney+'s higher operating loss caused the increase in operating losses.

Instead of the previous forecast of 230 million to 250 million subscribers, Disney Plus now expects between 215 million and 245 million subscribers.

Chapek stated that the company has been in discussions with "several different platforms" about adding sports betting.
