Apple Mixed Reality Headset Is Coming: Named As Reality One And Reality Pro

Scribbled Arrow

Trademark filings discovered by Bloomberg indicate that Apple could include "Reality"

Within the branding and name of its long-rumoured mixed-reality headset.

Three separate trademark filings provide trademarks for "Reality One," Reality Pro," and "Reality Processor,"

Which are in line with the realityOS name that surfaced in Apple's source code,

As well as an application for trademarks that could refer to the operating system for the headset.

The applications were not filed by Apple but by an entity called Immersive Health Solutions LLC.

Companies such as Apple frequently use shell companies' names when they file for patents or trademarks to protect their plans from being revealed.

Additionally to the US, the applications were made in the EU, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Costa Rica, and Uruguay.

The three filings mention "virtual and Augmented Reality glasses, headsets, goggles along with smart glasses."

It may be possible that the "Reality One" trademark is referring to the brand name for the device itself,

Whereas "Reality Pro" indicates an upgraded version with a higher spec that Apple is planning to release shortly,

Following the "Pro" brand name Apple applies to its premium headsets.

In addition, the term "Reality Processor" may allude to the unit that processes the headset that is believed as an M2 chip.
