Apple Releases iOS 15.6 And iPadOS 15.6 With New Features, Bug Fixes And More

Scribbled Arrow

Today Apple has released an update for its tablets and smartphones that are eligible with iOS 15.6 or iPadOS 15.6.

This may very well be among the last or the last update that the 15.x branch will see, given that iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 are due to be released in September.

While we wait for this to happen, let's look at what 15.6 will bring to your iPads and iPhones.

First, there's a variety of bug fixes, such as the issue that made Settings keep saying that the storage space is full even though it wasn't at all,

an issue that caused braille devices to slow down or cease to respond when scrolling text in Mail as well as a problem with Safari, which caused tabs to go back to the previous page immediately.

In addition to additional features, another new feature is built inside the application TV: the ability to start a live sporting game in progress and pause, rewind or fast-forward it.

The two versions, iOS 15.6 for iPhones and iPadOS 15.6 on iPads, will be available for download and installation in the Settings app. Please go and check it out now.
