Indian conglomerate Tata Group, which sells software and salt to India, plans to open 100 Apple-only stores in the country.

According to the report, Infiniti Retail of Tata Group, which owns the Croma consumer electronics store chain, will become an Apple-authorized reseller and open stores in shopping malls, high streets, and neighborhood locations.

Tata has started talks with premium malls, high streets, and other retailers. The lease terms also include information about brands and stores that can't be opened near these outlets. A retail consultant was informed of this by the publication.
