Amazon has announced that it will no longer offer free delivery of groceries for Prime members with orders of less than $150.

Customers who have their groceries delivered by Amazon Fresh -paying less than $150 are charged between $3.95 or $9.95, dependent on the amount of their order.

“We will continue to offer convenient two-hour delivery windows for all orders, and customers in some areas will be able to select a longer, six-hour delivery window for a reduced fee," Amazon said in the email.

The service was launched in 2005. Prime boasts more than 200 million customers across the globe who pay $139 a year, that's $14.99 per month.
