Twitter’s New CEO Thanks Elon Musk

One day after Elon Musk, the billionaire, declared that he would resign as chief executive of Twitter Inc due to his attempt to buy it, a Twitter user Bess Kalb went viral for her humorous thread about becoming the next CEO.

Bess Kalb is an Emmy-nominated comedian writer who shared a thread on Twitter saying thanks to Elon Musk for “taking the chance” on her. She wrote: “Can finally announce”: I am humbled and honored to be the new CEO for Twitter, tagging the second-richest person in the world.

She doesn’t declare her post as a parody immediately, which would be much to Elon’s ire considering the account suspension rampage that he took after he impersonated several accounts.

He stated that Twitter users who impersonate someone on Twitter without explicitly indicating it as a parody account would be permanently suspended without warning.

The parody intent of the tweet becomes clearer as she mocks Elon Musk. He is more than just the apartheid profiteer heir to an emerald mining owner who hates him. He is a man whose only friend is Jared Kushner. “I know Elon Musk, with his unimpeachable vision and level of knowledge, will go to Mars in his lifetime,” Ms. Kalb wrote.

She continued, “Though he cannot conceive children at a laboratory setting, no matter how many women she impregnates, and his facelifts melt, I will show up to Twitter the same way he does year after year, despite his refusal to accept “Media Elites,” when they ridicule him.”

“I’m also finally able to reveal that Elon earned over $68,000 through his flagship innovation, Twitter Blue! Twitter thanks him for his smart and profitable idea. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors. She concluded that they are great and will only explode a few people.”
